European Soft Matter Infrastructure

The ESMI Project has started and is working to launch the first call for proposal.
The Kick-off meeting will take place on March 10, 2011, and after that date the ESMI web portal shall enter into force.

ESMI consists of three main parts:

• Networking: with a dissemination and educational plan To foster a culture of cooperation between research infrastructures and scientific communities
• TransNational Access - To provide (free of charge) access to the offered infrastructures to researchers or research teams;
  an Online Proposal Submission System will be available under the ESMI web portal
• Joint Research Activities - To improve the existing infrastructures
